What happens when the free trial ends?
Choose a plan and pay to keep selling. If you don't, your account becomes read only: you can still see and download all your records, and paying later restores everything. Nothing is deleted.
Does it renew automatically?
No. You pay each month or year yourself, by mobile money or card, and we remind you by email before it's due. If a payment is late you keep full use for 7 more days.
Can I cancel or change plan?
Any time, in Billing. Cancelling stops renewal; your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Upgrades apply straight away; moving to a smaller plan starts when your paid period ends.
Who can see my data?
Only your business and the staff you give logins to. Every business's records are kept separate by the database itself. You can download everything as spreadsheets whenever you like, even if your plan has ended.
I already bought a licence. Does this change anything?
No. Your licence is yours forever, exactly as agreed. Polaris Cloud is a separate option for businesses that prefer to pay monthly.

Is it really one-time — no monthly fee?
Yes. You buy the licence once and it's yours forever, including free security fixes. Polaris Care (for new features and priority support) is optional.
What if the internet goes down?
Polaris keeps working. It records every sale offline and syncs automatically when you're back online.
Do I need to buy new hardware?
No. It runs in the browser on the Android phone, tablet or computer you already own. A receipt printer and cash drawer are optional add-ons.
Can I add the other Polaris products later?
Yes — that's the whole idea. Inventory, Accounting, CRM and Analytics connect to the same data, so adding them is easy when you're ready.
What happens to my data?
It's yours. You can export it any time. No lock-in — that's a promise, not a footnote.
